Ralph Rosenberg, M.D. opened his practice of Internal Medicine in Avon in 1983. Prior to that Dr. Rosenberg was on the faculty of the University of Connecticut Health Center and Head of the Hypertension Division of the Newington V.A. Hospital.
Dr. Rosenberg went to undergraduate school at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio. He attended Medical College of Ohio medical school, and began his residency training at San Francisco General in Emergency Medicine. Dr. Rosenberg did his Internal Medicine residency in Toledo, Ohio and at the University of Connecticut where he was Chief Resident.
Dr. Rosenberg has been the Town of Avon Medical Advisor and is the Medical Director for the Avon School system.
Dr. Rosenberg lives in Avon and is married to Hilda Slivka, M.D., a pediatrician. His son Jake is doing a M.D./Ph.D degree at Stanford University and his daughter Julia is attending Cornell Medical School.
Dr. Evan Schiff is from Trumbull, Connecticut and received his undergraduate at Brown University in 1997 where he graduated with honors. He attended the University of Connecticut Medical School where he was awarded honors in clinical internal medicine in 2002.
With a faculty appointment and as a clinical fellow in medicine at Harvard Medical School, he completed his residency at Mount Auburn Hospital in Cambridge, Massachusetts, where he was awarded the senior resident David Frommer Award.
Board Certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine, he has been practicing primary care medicine in Connecticut since 2005. A member of the American Medical Association and the American College of Physicians, Dr. Schiff is also a local member of the Connecticut State Medical Society and the Hartford County Medical Association. Dr. Schiff is listed on the National Registry of Certified Medical Examiners as part of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration. He is also certified through the International Society for Clinical Densitometry. He sees adult patients for all general health issues and has interests in obesity, high blood pressure, asthma, cholesterol and diabetes. Dr. Schiff is an avid runner and piano player. He lives with his two children and his wife who is a pediatrician.
Linda Daniels-Miller, P.A.
Linda Daniels-Miller, P.A. is certified with the National Academy of Physician Assistants. She is a member of the Connecticut Association of Physician Assistants and the American Academy of Physician Assistants.
Linda is a graduate of Livingston College, Rutgers University, with a Bachelor of Science. She then attended the United States Public Health Service Hospital Physician Assistant training program. Upon graduation she attended a Post Graduate Surgical Residency Program at Norwalk Hospital/Yale University. She then worked in the Surgical Department at Norwalk Hospital for five years. Linda then did post graduate work in Emergency Medicine at the University of Iowa. She has since worked in the Emergency Room, Occupational Medicine and Employee Health and Gynecology.
Linda has worked with Dr. Rosenberg since 1992. She is married and has two children. She enjoys hiking, biking, gardening and singing with the Farmington Valley Chorale.
John C. Rossignol, P.A.
John C. Rossignol, P.A. is a graduate of Quinnipiac College with a Bachelor's Degree in Allied Health. He then attended Southern Connecticut State University, working as a Graduate Teaching Assistant while receiving a Master's Degree in Human Performance/Exercise Physiology.
John received his medical training as a Physician Assistant at Yale University. He has worked in Family Practice and Cardiology prior to joining Dr. Rosenberg in July, 2000.
John lives in Simsbury with his wife and two children.
Kelley L. Lawton, P.A.
Kelley L. Lawton, P.A. is a graduate of Boston University with a
Bachelor of Science degree in Human Physiology. Afterwards, she worked as a medical assistant first in a cardiology practice and then joined Dr. Rosenberg's office. She furthered her education at Saint Joseph University for her Master of Science in Healthcare Management and then went on to graduate magna cum laude from Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences with a Master of Science Degree in Physician Assistant Studies. She is certified with the National Academy of Physician Assistants and is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants. She returned to join Dr. Rosenberg's office as a Physician Assistant in January 2013.
Kelley lives in Granby with her husband. She enjoys skiing,
running, biking and fishing.
